Local knowledge. International experience. Personal representation.

Buying a property in the Algarve is about much more than finding a beautiful home. It is about understanding the market, knowing the right locations, asking the right questions, recognising genuine opportunities and having someone reliable on the ground who is genuinely looking after your interests.

I have spent many years working with international clients in demanding, service-driven environments, where discretion, organisation, problem-solving and attention to detail were essential. Today, I bring that experience together with my extensive knowledge of the Algarve property market to offer buyers a highly personal, independent and hands-on property concierge service.

My approach is simple: I listen first.

I take the time to understand not only the type of property you are looking for, but how you intend to live, what matters to you, your priorities, your timescale and your longer-term objectives. Whether you are searching for a permanent home, a second residence, a lifestyle investment or a property with rental potential, the search should begin with you — not with a list of properties someone happens to have available.

Having worked extensively with both local and international clients, I understand the questions, concerns and practical challenges that often come with purchasing property in another country. I also know the Algarve beyond the property portals: its different areas, communities, lifestyle, market dynamics and the network of professionals required to complete a purchase successfully.

That combination of local insight and international experience allows me to guide clients realistically and objectively. Sometimes that means identifying a property they may never have considered themselves. Sometimes it means advising them not to pursue one.

For me, being a buyer concierge means being dependable, accessible and involved throughout the entire journey — from the first conversation and initial property search through viewings, negotiations, due diligence coordination and completion, and, when required, well beyond the purchase itself.

One client described our experience together perfectly:

“You were the one who identified the house we eventually bought and you helped us through the purchase process, literally from start to finish.”

— Jonathan JC

That is precisely the service I aim to provide.

My previous professional experience also shaped the way I work today. For many years I operated within a fast-paced international environment supporting clients from different cultures and backgrounds, including high-net-worth individuals, where situations required discretion, composure, coordination and the ability to find solutions quickly.

A former colleague described me as:

“An incredibly passionate, dedicated and thorough individual who took extreme pride in her work and went over and beyond her job description to ensure customers had their expectations exceeded.”

— Lola C

Those qualities remain central to the way I work with my property clients today.

Clients often tell me they value my ability to remain calm, organised and practical throughout what can otherwise become a stressful process.

“She listens to the clients’ requirements... is a very good organiser and efficient in whatever she does.”

— Liz H

And perhaps most importantly, I believe excellent service does not end when the property is found.

Over the years I have assisted clients with everything from coordinating professionals and preparing properties to arranging furniture, utilities, rentals and practical local services.

As another client put it:

“Susana provided a great service... ensuring the smooth running of everything. She is conscientious, personable and enthusiastic.”

— Nicky G
